Dr. Alka Agrawal is teaching English as Associate Professor in N.K.B.M.G.PG. College, Chandausi (U P) from the last 24 years. She is interested in innovative language teaching strategies and Indian Literature written in English. She writes poems in Hindi & English both. In the literary arena, she is popularly known as alka ‘almika’. A collection of her poems namely “BLOOMING BUDS” has been recently published by Adhhayayan Publication, New Delhi. Her poems have been published in "Poets for World Peace" (An Anthology of poems) by Vesta Publication, Canada, Poets’ International, Web Poetry Corner, Boloji.net, Poethunter.com, Contemporary Literary Review, Muse India, Shodh Manthan etc. She has presented papers in various International and National Conferences and Seminars. Her articles and Research Papers have been published in many International Journals of repute. Her Papers published in Journals & Anthologies have been widely appreciated. She is also a member of ISSA, IAPEN, IDEAS, POETS INTERNATIONAL, DELIBERATIVE RESEARCH and FORTELL. She has just completed a UGC sponsored Minor Research Project based on teaching of foreign language for which she also organized a one day International Workshop in her college.
